Longing....

Every day I wish to dive into your eyes
To lose myself in you, to breathe you in completely...
But when you stand before me,
Every emotion turns into silence.
All night, my heart confesses to you in whispers
And by morning… I fall quiet once again.
Without moving my lips, my eyes silently ask 
Can love still be true if it’s never said aloud?
They say love must be spoken to be real
Then tell me — was my silence just betrayal?
Was the love that clung to my soul each moment
A lie… just because I never found the words?
Every time I tried to speak
Love would break at the edge of my lips.
And you… you just kept walking past
As if my feelings belonged to another world. 
I failed to find the words
You failed to feel the truth…
And so, this unnamed love was swallowed whole by silence.

WITHOUT MOVING MY LIPS, MY EYES SILENTLY ASK  "CAN LOVE STILL BE TRUE IF IT'S NEVER SAID ALOUD?" THEY SAY LOVE MUST BE SPOKEN TO BE REAL THEN TELL ME - WAS MY SILENCE JUST BETRAYAL? -WAS THE LOVE THAT CLUNG TO MY SOUL EACH MOMENT, A LIE... JUST BECAUSE I NEVER FOUND THE WORDS?
